Bio
Dr. Wasifa Naushad is a healthcare biotechnologist with PhD in Applied Biosciences from Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applies biosciences, NUST, Islamabad. She has gained her research experience during her PhD research fellowship at University of Iowa, Iowa and Stonybrook University, New York, USA. Her molecular biology techniques expertise includes DNA, RNA and Protein isolation, Gel Electrophoresis, Qualitative and Quantitative PCR, Western blotting, Flowcytometry, Immunofluorescence and Zymography. She has also gained experience of in-vivo and in-vitro cell culture assays. Her research is focused on role of host restriction factors during viral infection and in virus mediated cancer development and progression. Dr. Wasifa is very delighted being part of PMC and her mission is to provide best of her knowledge to academics and research.
